The health information here is general

The pages on this site explain hearing, hearing loss and the things a clinic can do about them. They are written to be accurate, for a general reader.

They are not a diagnosis and they are not advice about your own hearing. Nobody can tell you what is happening in your ears without testing them. If anything here sounds familiar, please book a hearing test.

In an emergency

Sudden hearing loss in one or both ears, hearing loss with dizziness, or hearing loss after an injury needs medical attention straight away. Contact your doctor or an emergency department first. The clinic also keeps urgent appointments free every day for sudden hearing loss, and a hearing test can show what kind of loss it is.

Manufacturers and trade marks

We name the hearing aid manufacturers we fit, and their names and logos remain their property. Naming them describes what we supply and does not imply that they endorse us, or that we speak for them.

Product descriptions reflect what a manufacturer publishes. Specifications change, so please ask at your appointment for the current details of any device.

Prices

Fees on this site are as of October 2026. Hearing aid prices depend on your hearing test and your funding, and we give you a written quote before you decide.

Links to other sites

Where we link to another organisation, such as a professional register or a manufacturer, we do it so that you can check something independently. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.

The text, images and design of this site belong to us unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to read, print and share pages for your own use. Republishing them commercially needs our permission.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of Western Australia.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.
